Big and Small

Near the feet of the twins (Gemini) is the open star cluster M35. It is a beautiful object for low magnifications or for medium focal lengths. Directly to its right is another, much smaller and more compact star cluster, NGC 2158. Seeing this small cluster next to its big "brother" makes the large cluster even more impressive.
