Composite

Artificial Conjunction

T his is not, as it may seem, a conjunction, but instead a composite of three individual subjects, separated from one another by about 40 degrees each.

Instead of complicated darkroom work or digital compositing with PhotoShop, I took all three photos on the same piece of film as a multiple exposure.

Remembering where each of the other parts was in the field, I photographed the next. Of course, for this to turn out requires a good portion of luck, but knowing how to do it works too.
